Description
Safety Solvent is one of the most powerful industrial solvent cleaners available. It is fast drying, nonflammable, nonconductive, and completely non-ozone depleting. The low odor formulation leaves no residue and does not contain methylene chloride. A unique feature of is the special dual action valving system which allows for both a misting spray for broad area degreasing and a blasting spray for hard to reach areas and extra deposit removal power. Use this product to remove grease, oil, dirt, and other deposits from electric motors, power equipment, printing presses, conveyor/escalators, and virtually any metal equipment or parts cleaning. While excellent as a multi-purpose industrial cleaner, it has the advantage of dielectric strength for use on live electrical equipment. As with most chlorinated solvent based products, Safety Solvent will affect certain plastics and rubbers. Always test Safety Solvent in an inconspicuous area to check product for compatibility.
Directions
Remove cap and point actuator toward surface to be cleaned. MIST SPRAY: Place finger on top of actuator and press down to mist broad surfaces to be cleaned. Saturate to desired level. BLAST SPRAY: Place finger behind actuator and push forward for blast/stream spray into nooks and crannies or for extra power on stubborn deposits on any area. Allow Safety Solvent to remain in contact for thirty seconds to one minute and then wipe or air dry. Repeat as necessary to achieve desired results. Extra heavy deposits may require brushing. Check to be sure bristles are compatible with the solvent before using. NOTE: Safety Solvent is nonflammable and nonconductive and therefore can be used while equipment is operating.
