POWER CLEAN 2001 is a low-foaming, heavy duty caustic cleaner.  It is recommended for cleaning fryers and equipment with cooked on food soils.  POWER CLEAN 2001 is formulated to be used in spray cleaning, CIP cleaning and foam applications.
When making solutions, add POWER CLEAN 2001 slowly and evenly over surface of cool water with adequate agitation to prevent coolant spattering.  Continue stirring until completely dissolved with potable water.
Foam Applications-
Pre-dissolve 10 pounds of POWER CLEAN 2001 in cool water, then slowly add to 50 gallons of hot (120-140F) water in a foamer with 1-2 quarts foamer.  Foam on surfaces and allow a 5 minute contact time.  Do not allow foam to dry.  Rinse completely with potable water.
Boil out of Cooked on Food Soils-
Use at a 1-3% caustic level, at 200 degrees for 2-3 hours.  Boil out at 215 degrees for 1/2 hour in fryer.  For blanchers and other cooking vessels, heat the 1-3% caustic cleaning solutions for 1-2 hours at 180-190F.
CIP Cleaning-
Use a 0.75 to 1/5% POWER CLEAN 2001 solutions at 170-200F.  Circulate this cleaning solution for 30-60 minutes, then drain and rinse with potable water.
Evaporator Cleaning-
Prepare 1 1-3% solution for POWER CLEAN 2001 and circulate for 1-2 hours at 170-200F.  Drain and rinse with potable water.
Bottle Washing-
The normal usage is at 3-4% caustically applied through a spray system.
