GENERAL PURPOSE FLYING INSECT SPRAY

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS:

CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist. Wear a pesticide respirator jointly approved by the Mining Enforcement and Safety Administration and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health under the provisions of 30 CFR Part II. Contains petroleum distillate.  If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.  Get immediate medical attention.  Avoid contact with skin and eyes, In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.

Do not apply directly to food. Do not apply space spray while food processing is underway. Cover or remove all food processing surfaces. Thoroughly wash all food processing surfaces before re‑use. After spraying in meat packing plants, bakeries and the food processing plants, wash with potable water all equipment, benches, shelving, etc., where exposed food will be handled.

When using in animal housing areas, do not apply directly to food, water or feed supplements. Do not apply directly to animals. Wash teats of dairy animals before milking. Remove pets, birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying. Physical Hazards: Do not store near heat or open flame.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Note: When used in hospitals, patients should be removed prior to treatment. Ventilate for two hours after treatment. Do not return patients to room until after ventilation.

For use In Homes, Restaurants, Food Processing Plants and Other Industrial Areas:

Space Spray Undiluted: To kill Houseflies, Mosquitoes, Gnats and Small Flying Moths: Close room and shut off all air conditioning or ventilating equipment. Using a cold fog generator, apply at the rate of 5 ounces per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Direct output from aerosol generator upward toward corners of room and ceiling. Leave room closed for ½ hour. Ventilate room thoroughly before re‑entry. Repeat as necessary.

Space Spray‑ Diluted for Ordinary Mechanical Fogging Equipment‑ to kill Files, Mosquitoes, Small Flying Moths and Gnats: Cover or remove exposed food and food handling surfaces. Close room and shut off all air conditioning or ventilating equipment. Dilute concentrate with oil at the rate of 1 part concentrate plus 2 parts of oil and mix well. Apply at the rate of 50-fl. oz. of dilute spray (.4 gal.) per 25,000 cubic feet of space. Direct fog upward towards upper corners of room and ceiling area. Leave room closed for ½ hour. Do not remain in treated areas. Ventilate room thoroughly before re-entry.

Contact Spray‑Diluted for use with Sprayers that give large wetting spray particles to kill Cockroaches and accessible stages of Granary Insects: Granary Weevils, Rice Weevils, Confused Flour Beetles, Rusty Grain Beetles, Red Flour Beetles, Indian Meal Moth Larvae and Adults, Cadelles, Grain Miles and Sawtoothed Grain Beetles: Cover or remove exposed food and close room as described above, Dilute concentrate with oil at the rate of 1 part concentrate plus 2 parts of oil and mix well. Spray outside walls of grain bins, flooring, about base of milling machinery, walls and baseboards, areas behind cabinets, around pipes and other insect harborages using 1 gallon of spray per 1,000 square feet of surface. Force spray into all cracks and crevices. Repeat applications as necessary.

For use In Dairy and Beef Barns, Swine Housing, Poultry Houses and Horse Barns:

Space Spray‑Undiluted for use in aerosol generators to kill Files, Mosquitoes, Gnats, Small Flying Moths and Exposed Cockroaches: Cover or remove exposed food and watering troughs and close house as tightly as possible. Apply as a fine mist over the livestock in stanchions or holding pens or over the poultry in cages or pens. Use a fogger or mist generator so spray is directed and applied above the animals and direct spray to center of the area where animals are housed. Apply 2 ounces per 1,000 cubic feet so that spray mist is distributed uniformly throughout the entire area sprayed. Do not ventilate the area for at least 30 minutes after spray has been applied. If used in dairy barn, aerate the barn thoroughly before milking. Repeat daily, morning and afternoon, or as required. Keep sprayer unit reservoir and nozzle clean to insure proper delivery of spray mist or fog.
